Cindy Davis, the eldest of five and a native of Houston, Texas, discovered her love for music at a young age, inspired by her mother’s passion for singing and the music that filled their home, along with the tunes from the jukebox at the family’s BBQ joint. This early exposure led her to start her musical journey, singing in church and school choirs, eventually becoming a praise and worship leader. Influenced by iconic artists like The Clark Sisters, Richard Smallwood, Tramaine Hawkins, Candi Staton, Denise Williams, Stephanie Mills, and Natalie Cole, Cindy aspired to become a vocalist, yet somehow emerged in network broadcasting, where she has made a profound impact as both a host and producer.
Her broadcasting career begun in 1992 with the launch of her first local television series, “The Women of Victory Broadcast,” a women’s ministry, that centered around testimonials and personal stories. The pinnacle of Cindy’s career has been “The Cindy Davis Show,” an award-winning talk show featuring biographical interviews with a wide range of guests, including, The Jacksons, Phil Ingram (of Switch), Chris Jasper (of the Isley Bro), Freda Payne, T.J. Jackson, The Manhattans, Foster Sylvers, Micheal Henderson.
